Kids & Teens Instructors
Courtney BriggsCourtney Briggs’ journey in dance began at a young age, with a deep passion and a clear view of her future plans within the art of dance. She trained under a variety of instructors in Chicago, Illinois, and Milwaukee and Madison, Wisconsin. She was a member of Resilience, a pre-professional dance company, under the direction of Joey Hernandez, and trained extensively in a variety of dance styles while learning the business side of the industry. Courtney also found a love for choreography and seeing her work performed by other dancers. In Courtney’s view, teaching and choreography are art forms that require passion, guidance and an openness in order to get desired results. She continues to train and expand her talent as a performer, teacher and choreographer so she can guide and support her own dancers and promote her love for dance through all the work she does.

Joe ChaplinJoe was born in London and started dancing and training at the age of 15 at the prestigious Pineapple Studios (London). From 18 to 22, Joe was chosen for a selective dance troupe performing at events such as Top of the Pops, Blue Peter, The Mobo Awards with artists Neyo, T-pain and Amy Winehouse, MTV’s My Sweet Sixteen with Sean Kingston, and many other projects. Not only did he gain experience teaching privately all over London, he had the rare opportunity to travel to the centre of the Mediterranean to the small island of Malta to teach at their top ranked performing arts school. His travel didn’t end there, booking jobs in Spain, Portugal, Ireland & France for 4 months as a performer at Disneyland, Paris. Now living in LA, Joe is choreographer & teacher for a number of bands and solo artists nationwide.
